As If We Were Equal revisits the revolutionary struggles of the 1960s and 1970s in Turkey through the experiences of women who were active in socialist organizations. Drawing on their feminist reflections on their own political histories, the project explores gender relations, inequalities, and women's experiences within the revolutionary movements of the period.

The documentary is part of the broader As If We Were Equal project, which also includes a book by Gülfer Akkaya and photographic work by Gülşin Ketenci.
